Frequently asked questions
I use a gentle, staged, and evidence-backed sleep training method that prioritises your baby’s emotional well-being. No one-size-fits-all solutions here, just a personalised approach that works for your family. My goal? To help your baby learn independent sleep skills while ensuring you feel confident and supported every step of the way.
Let’s be real, babies cry because that’s how they communicate. But no, I won’t ask you to leave your baby to cry alone. My approach is gentle, responsive, and designed to give your baby (and you!) the support needed to make positive sleep changes. Some protest is normal, it’s their way of saying, “Hey, this is different!” but you’ll always be there to reassure them.
We know how tough it is when your little one isn’t feeling well and sleep training can feel even trickier during those times. If your child becomes unwell, it’s absolutely okay to pause and offer them the extra cuddles and care they need. You’re not “going backwards” you’re just being the loving, responsive parent they need at that time.
That said, if your little one has mild symptoms (like a runny nose or teething discomfort) and you’re comfortable, you can continue with some parts of the sleep plan, especially the falling asleep routine. Sometimes sticking with those familiar steps can actually feel reassuring for them.
Ultimately, there’s no pressure. We’ll go at your pace, and I’ll be here to help you decide what feels right for your family in the moment.
